Eligibility Requirements for BMC Tax Credits
To qualify for the tax credit, a business must meet the following criteria:
- Have fewer than 50 employees based in Maryland
- Be required to file a Maryland income tax return
When applying for the credit, a company certifies its status as a Qualified Maryland Company by confirming these two requirements1.
